This is all based on reality. I stretched the truth in parts (like what happens at the end of Nine of Swords didn't actually happen in real life) - but everything happened, give or take a few incidents. Most quotes that are in there are from various people in my life, just put into different peoples mouths, some of the stuff that Chakotay does for Kathryn someone did for me, so you get the point. I've been told it shows the real Kathryn Janeway from a knowledgable point of view (ignoring the fact that I can't spell). I think that too. I don't wish to be knowledgeable (that still doesn't look right) about this subject, however. I am. BUT! Now that you all know this is based on things that really happened in my life, I don't want anyone coming back to me, emailing me whatever, saying "Oh my god, I'm so sorry" yadda yadda yadda. I've dealt enough with that. And, to let you know, I'm horrible in therapy (you'll figure that out as you read). ~Sara
